Key characteristics of this product family.

Laminating conductors cancels inductance: current flowing in opposite directions through tightly coupled layers cancels the induced fields. With only a thin film — down to 5 mil — between layers, coupling surfaces are maximized, inductance falls and capacitance rises, which lowers characteristic impedance and reduces signal noise and crosstalk. Choosing the right film means balancing temperature, dielectric strength and cost.
