How this center helps

This help center is written for the people who actually move a busbar project: purchasing managers comparing suppliers, engineers sizing parts before an RFQ, and quality teams checking what documentation to expect with a shipment. It is not another engineering library — the engineering resources already cover design theory. Here you will find the operational side: what to send, what to expect, and how to verify what you receive.

The buyer path in four steps

1. Prepare your specification — current, voltage class, layers, terminals, environment. Use the specifications page to match standard options, and the calculators to pre-check sizing. 2. Request the quote — send the drawing or sample photo via the contact page; you get a technical and commercial response within one business day. 3. Approve the DFM feedback — our engineering team reviews manufacturability, tolls, plating and tolerances with the quotation. 4. Sample, then production — sample builds precede production tooling, and every lot ships with its test records.

Why buyers work factory-direct

SHANYUAN is a registered manufacturer — Rizhao Shanyuan Electronic Components Co., Ltd., founded March 2012 — running a 17,200 m² plant with punching, laser cutting, tin plating, dielectric layup, hot-press lamination, terminal assembly and full electrical testing in-house. Buying factory-direct means the DFM review, the tooling and the test records come from the same team that builds the parts. The trade-offs of working with a busbar manufacturer rather than a trading company are covered in the supplier selection guide.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What information do I need to get a laminated busbar quote?
A drawing (PDF, DXF or STEP) or a sample photo, plus the operating current, voltage class, conductor layers, terminal types and an estimated annual quantity. With a complete specification, SHANYUAN returns a technical and commercial quotation within one business day. See the quote process page for the full checklist.
What is the MOQ for custom laminated busbars?
Custom laminated busbar projects typically start from a few hundred pieces per year once tooling is amortized. For low-volume or prototype needs, sample builds are available before production tooling is committed.
How long is a typical busbar lead time?
Tooling and sample builds typically take 2-4 weeks after drawing approval; production lead time for repeat orders is usually 2-5 weeks depending on volume, plating and lamination layers. Exact dates are confirmed in the quotation.
Which tests are performed on every batch?
Hipot, insulation resistance, dimensional and continuity checks are performed per lot, with batch records and CoC available on request. Test specifications follow the agreement at design freeze.
