Final values follow your drawing — this is the standard configuration of the family.
| Parameter | Value |
|---|---|
| Alloy | 6101 (extruded) |
| Conductivity | ~56 % of copper (IACS) |
| Weight | ~50 % of equivalent copper |
| Equivalent sizing | +27 % width or +50 % thickness vs copper (same rise) |
| Surface | Bare, tin or silver plated on request |
| Thermal expansion | ~42 % higher than copper — torque maintenance advised |

Key characteristics of this product family.

Aluminium busbar is selected where weight and material cost matter more than ultimate conductivity. Alloy 6101 conducts roughly 56 % as well as copper for the same cross-section at about half the weight. Because aluminium runs warmer at equal current, the bar is sized wider or thicker to reach the same temperature rise as the equivalent copper bar — a trade-off reviewed with the customer before quoting.
